The documents obtained by WikiLeaks and published by “Liberation” reveal that the NSA, at least from 2006 to May 2012, spied Jacques Chirac, Nicolas Sarkozy and François Hollande. It is just public exposure, in a major Western media, of what we explain tirelessly for a decade: the Americanized, domesticated, vassal France, that of the “American party” that denounced both general de Gaulle and Jean Thiriart 50 years ago, is also and above all a despised and domesticated France. These presidents who believe to rely on the “Great Chessboard” are only suitcase carriers who are mocked in Washington behind the scenes!
What says Libération ?
“A popular adage in the intelligence community wants that in matters of espionage, it has no allies – or, at least, they are not necessarily friends. “To spy on friends, this is not done”, was besides outraged Angela Merkel learning in October 2013 by revelations of Spiegel, that the National Security Agency (NSA) had targeted her cell phone. A selection of documents published by Liberation and Mediapart in collaboration with WikiLeaks reveals that in France, three successive presidents, and some of their associates, have been spied over a period of at least from 2006, during the second term of Jacques Chirac, to May 2012, just after installation at the Elysee of François Hollande (…) The documents obtained by WikiLeaks – grouped under the title “Espionage Elysée” – consist mainly of five analytical reports from the NSA, under the name “Global SIGINT Highlights”, ie, the “highlights” from the electromagnetic intelligence, communications intercepts. All are classified as “Top Secret,” and intented for those responsible for the NSA and the US intelligence community (…)
This selection of documents reveals only a part of the NSA’s spying activities on French leaders: there is no way to know the amount of account records having been communicated to the leaders of the NSA
