Somali Shebab Islamists are responsible of the bloody attack in Nairobi. Kenya’s capital hit to the heart.
In Kenya destabilized by the maneuvers of the Western powers and the ICC at orders, which intends to sue the newly elected president , Uhuru Kenyatta , the threat of Islamist Shebab militia is a factor of more chaos .
This is the result of another chaos, organized by the U.S. imperialist policy , which is spreading every day in Africa and the Middle East : that of Somalia, failed state , non-state imploded and dislocated.
Kenya has indeed unilaterally entered neighboring Somalia in October 2011, in order to fight the Somali jihadist Shabab. It keeps in since in the south, through a multinational African force supporting the puppet and helpless government against the Somali Islamists.
As the population of northern Kenya is generally of Somali ethnicity, predictable contagion did not take long , “a campaign of attacks attributed to al-Shabab bloodied several Kenyan cities and anti- Somali pogroms took place in December in a neighborhood of Nairobi inhabited mainly by Somalis and Kenyans of Somali ethnicity. The Kenyan government then ordered all refugees and asylum seekers to leave the Kenyan cities to return to refugee camps.”
Six days before the recent presidential election on 4 March 2013, the Shebab had “warned the Kenyan voters that they would suffer” a long and terrible war ” if the next government in Nairobi did not withdraw its forces from the neighboring country”. As then wrote the daily La Libre Belgique (Brussels) , ” this does not appear in any of the eight presidential candidates program.” The campaign ” was held in an atmosphere poisoned by bombings and grenade against bars , churches and law enforcement officials .”
Somali Shebab linked to al-Qaeda claimed on their Twitter account the attack against a shopping mall in Nairobi that left at least 30 dead and 60 wounded. ” The mujahideen entered today at noon in Westgate ” the mall where the attack took place , said a message posted on their account shortly after 1800 GMT. “They killed more than 100 Kenyan infidels and the battle continues ,” say the Islamists. They justify the attack as retaliation for the intervention of the Kenyan army for two years in southern Somalia against the Islamist group , recalling having ” warned Kenya on several occasions .” “What Kenyans see in Westgate , is retributive justice for crimes committed by their soldiers ” involved in the Somali conflict as “by land , by air and by sea , Kenyan forces invaded our Muslim country, killing hundreds of Muslims in these operations and displacing thousands more , “explained the Shebab on their account.
They claim to have , ” on many occasions , warned the Kenyan government that keeping forces in Somalia would have dramatic consequences.” “The message that we send to the government and the Kenyan population is and will always be the same: remove all your forces from our country,” added the Shebab .
Again the cursed results of the U.S. policy and another country hit by Islamist terrorism in some time ally of Washington (Libya, Afghanistan 1979-92 , Bosnia , the Caucasus, Syria 2011- August 2013 … ) in other time scripted opponent of the pseudo “war against terrorism” ( Sahel , Somalia , Mali , Afghanistan 1995-2013 , Syria since a few weeks … ) . The Shebab – which was also the name of NTC Islamist katibas of Benghazi in March 2011 – are the monstrous offspring of American imperialism . And their ascension, the obscene result of the strategy of Washington !
